Bus Services

Access to and from Georgiana Molloy Anglican School from throughout Busselton and the Cape region is provided by a number of bus companies. The school is well serviced in relation to public transport with children traveling daily from as far a field as Margaret River / Augusta, Nannup, and Bunbury. In addition to the excellent services to outlying areas, there are numerous services that cover the suburbs and communities along Geographe Bay through to Dunsborough and generally throughout the Cape. Smart Rider Cards

Students should have a Student SmartRider card to access student fares for bus travel to and from school.  The procedures to obtain a card differ for lower school (Kindy to Year 6) and secondary students (year 7 to Year 12).

Lower School Students

GMAS is now registered for online ordering of initial and replacement SmartRider cards for lower school students.

Initial SmartRider Card Orders

There are two ways that an initial Student SmartRider card can be ordered for lower school students (Kindy to Year 6) at GMAS.

Manual  method where the initial card is free - Complete an “Application for Student SmartRider Form” (can be obtained from the school or downloaded from http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Portals/0/Asset/Documents/SmartRider/SmartRider_

), bring it to Student Services at school to have it authorised, and then mail it to the address shown on the form.  Please ensure the school name is “Georgiana Molloy Anglican School Lower School”.

Online method where the initial card cost is $5 payable by credit card – Go to the Monitor WA website http://www.monitorwa.com.au/smartrider/default.html and choose Georgiana Molloy Anglican School (lower school only)
as the Educational Institution.  Enter in the required details. The card will be sent to the school and will be distributed to the student’s classroom teacher.

Replacement SmartRider Card Orders

Use one of the following methods.  Both methods incur a charge of $5 but the payment methods differ.

  • Manual method – Complete the “Application for Replacement Student SmartRider Form” (can be obtained from the school or downloaded from http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Portals/0/Asset/Documents/SmartRider/SmartRider Student_Replacement_Form_ Nov08.pdf), bring it to Student Services at school to have it authorised, and then mail it to the address shown on the form with a $5 cheque or money order payable to “Monitor WA”.   Please ensure the school name is “Georgiana Molloy Anglican School Lower School”.
  • Online method - Go to the Monitor WA website http://www.monitorwa.com.au/smartrider/default.html and choose Georgiana Molloy Anglican School (lower school only) as the Educational Institution.  Enter in the required details. Payment of the $5 fess is via a Mastercard or Visa credit card.  The card will be sent to the school and will be distributed to the student’s classroom teacher.

Secondary Students

Initial and replacement cards will continue to be issued through Student Services only.  The initial card is free and replacement cards cost $5.  Replacement cards will be issued with the latest school photo of the student. Cards will be distributed via the students Homeroom.
